Plenary Sessions and Demonstration to be held at
University of Toronto Institute for Aerospace Studies (UTIAS)

The purpose for this conference is to promote a closer relationship between the space and mining sectors. The intent is to allow mining experts to network with space scientists and engineers, to share knowledge, and to foster collaboration.

The focus of the conference will be solid planet sciences. Topics will be limited to the science and technology of exploring and exploiting resources on Earth as well as on other planetary bodies, such as the moon, Mars, asteroids, comets, etc.

Materials Science & Mining Symposium
The 5th Materials Science & Mining Symposium (MSMS) will hosted in conjunction with the PTMSS this year. The MSMS Promotes collaboration between the mining and minerals industry and materials science research allowing industry access to cutting-edge materials science while fostering an understanding of technological needs in the mining/minerals industry.
